Matt Prorok joined Great Plains Institute in November 2015 as a Policy Associate. His work will focus on the development of electric transmission infrastructure and markets to enhance renewable energy development. Matt has a background in engineering and sustainability. He obtained his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State with a minor in Earth Systems. More recently, he received an M.S. in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs. His work at the University of Minnesota focused on greenhouse gas emissions attributable to electric vehicles in Minnesota.
